From a young age, fashion was never just clothing to me — it was a language. Growing up with a deep love for Asian fashion, I would ask my mum to take me to the fabric store, clutching sketches of designs I had dreamed up myself. She would bring every single one to life with her sewing, stitch by stitch, and without fail, everyone who saw them fell in love. Those early creations planted a seed that never stopped growing.

In 2022, after years of passion and perseverance, I took the leap and founded Adaa by Iram. The journey has been anything but easy. I encountered suppliers who took my money and never delivered. Others sent designs I never asked for, bearing no resemblance to the vision I had worked so hard to articulate. There were moments of doubt, frustration, and loss — but every setback only deepened my resolve.

Those experiences taught me what truly matters: integrity, quality, and staying true to your vision no matter the obstacles. Each challenge made me sharper, more discerning, and more committed to building something that genuinely reflects the beauty and richness of South Asian design.

Today, I am proud to lead an incredible team who share that same passion and dedication. Together, we create pieces that are more than fashion — they are a celebration of culture, craftsmanship, and the quiet strength it takes to build something meaningful from the ground up.
